D-Link Access Point Media Bridge Review & Giveaway -- ENDED

We live in a multilevel home where getting a decent wifi signal is difficult in certain areas of the house. The 3 rooms where we have limited signals are our kids' bedrooms and the family room. Since the kids don't need internet access right now, the fact that they are not getting wifi in their rooms is a non issue. However, we really needed our wifi connection to work well in the living room. This is important to us for two reasons. First of all, we spent a lot of time in the family room. My husband would love to be able to watch Netflix or surfer the net on his iPad while we are just hanging out with the kids. Secondly, DD just started to learn how to use a computer. We bought a desktop computer for her. Instead of putting it in her room, we have decided to leave it in the family where we could keep an eye on her while she access the internet. However, since the wifi connection is weak, she gets disconnected pretty often while she is trying to use it.

With D-Link Access Point Media Bridge, we were able to fix the problem. The Access Point Media Bridge is very easy to install, it took my husband less than 10 minutes to do it. There's 2 modes we could use for this product. We ended up using it as a Media Bridge to provide a better connectivity for DD's computer.

The Access Point Media Bridge is surprisingly compact. It does not take up much room on DD's desk. We connected DD's computer to the Access Point Media Bridge. In the Bridge Mode, this products acts as the antenna and configures the booster to connect the existing wifi in our family room. By using this product, we have noticed that the wifi signal is stronger. For instance, DD is able to watch an entire episode of "My Little Pony" on her computer without any streaming breaks. The signal is steady and has definitely improved with the Access Point Media Bridge. 

The SmartBeam technology works! It has made streaming movies as well as doing researches for school projects on the internet better for my daughter.
