The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa: Book Review & Giveaway -- ENDED

Before I had kids, I used to read a lot of books. My husband and I visited the local used book stores as well as the library weekly. Now, with 2 kids, I don't have much time to read. I have a stack of books on my night stand that I hope to get through this summer, and it might just be wishful thinking on my part, lol. I typically don't write book reviews because I feel like I had written more than enough of those during my years in graduate school; but more importantly, I barely have enough time to read the books let alone actually provide constructive criticism on them. However, when I was asked to review the The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa, I decided to give it a try.

I figure while I am waiting for DD to finish her art classes, gymnastic lessons or when I am relaxing by the pool with the kids, I could get a little reading done. I started reading The Immortal Rules (but I haven't quite finish it yet) and I thought Kagawa's writing style was great. The scenes she created were breath taking and I truly enjoyed her writing. Furthermore,  there's wonderful depth in the characters. I am looking forward to finishing up the book (hopefully in the next few weeks). If you are a fan of vampire books, I recommend check it out.
