For this project, you will need the following:
*scissors
*ruler
*sewing machine or needles & thread
*glue gun
*fabric
*Polyester Polyfil
*ribbon
*hair ties (I prefer Goody brand)
To begin, measure and cut 2 pieces of fabric roughly about 3" x 5.5" (but you can really make these as large or as small as you like).
Have the reverse (incorrect sides outward and sew all 4 sides, but leave a little opening in the middle of one side). From the small opening, pull the fabric inside out to show the correct side.
Take some polyfil and stuffed the pocket you made with it -- do not overfill the pocket. There is no need to sew the opening closed.
For the next step, you need need a piece of ribbon about 5" long and a hair tie.
Use a glue gun to attached one end of the ribbon to the hair tie.
Then wrap the ribbon around the hair bow and glue the end of the ribbon onto itself using a glue gun.
This is what the puffy hair bow should look like when you are done.
This is what it looks like on DD's head.

From beginning to end, each bow took me less than 10 minutes to make. They are great for dressing up boring ponytails.
