Daddy-O Productions the Road Trip board game Review & Giveaway

Although my husband and I used to travel a lot, it has been really hard to go anywhere with our kids. We have taken DD to Taiwan a few times to visit our families there, but we mainly only visit different parts of California if we vacation in the US. The Road Trip game by Daddy-O Productions not only helps DD understand US geography, it has also fun to play.
The game comes in a cute tin box in with little car, a die, challenge cards, rest stop cards and a retro US road map.
While DD is too young to play this game (it's a bit too changeling for her age), we still had a lot of fun playing it. Instead of asking her the complex questions that she might not be able to answer full  on the cards, we would revise the question for her. For example, instead of asking her "Name 3 smelly things that start with the letter ____" , we would simply ask her to name 3 smelly things. Of course, when it is our turn, we would roll the die and get the alphabet that we are suppose to use.
All in all, after playing this game with DD, we thought it was really fun. If you are going on a road trip, I would definitely recommend picking it up. We plan on doing a lot of traveling with our kids are older, so we are really looking forward to playing this with both of our kids.

To buy the game we received to review or to check out other games offered by Daddy-O Productions, please visit its website.

Many thanks to Daddy-O Productions. The company has generously offered the same game I received to review as a giveaway prize to one of my lucky readers. This giveaway ends on Oct 6th, 2011.
