Ella's Kitchen Review & Giveaway -- ENDED

When DD was an infant, I made baby food for her, but I also bought pre-made baby food for her as well. For some reason, she did not care much for my home made baby food, so I would alternate between them. With baby G, I am planning on making my own baby food again, but a friend of mine could not say enough good things about Ella's kitchen. She is a mother of three and she said that with her youngest one, she purchased a lot of Ella's Kitchen baby food because her son loved it so much. She also mentioned how much she loved the packaging and that she truly believe this was one of the best baby food companies on the market today. After hearing her talking about Ella's Kitchen for months, I just had to give it a try.
The company sent me an assortment of their baby food to try. I was surprised to learn that for some of their products you can feed them to your babies as early as 4 months old. Baby G is very large for his age so I am sure he would appreciate the solid food, but since he is only 3 1/2 months right now, I am holding off until he is officially 4 months old to try these food. I did, however, offered one of the smoothies I received to review to DD and had her try it. (I decided to do that because my friend mentioned to me that her 6 year old daughter actually loves the smoothies from Ella's kitchen, so I wanted to see if DD would feel the same way).

Well, it turned out my friend was 100 % right. DD loved Ella's Kitchen smoothie. The only problem we had was that she drank it so fast that it was gone in just a couple of minutes. She asked for more but sadly I only had 1 pack of "The Purple One" for her.

I really like that a child can easily squeeze on bag and suck all of the juice/food out so easily. It definitely makes feeding time much easier. I remember with DD, I did not enjoy feeding her by the spoonful while I watched my husband eat the hot meal I made. After they were both done eating, then I got to eat the meal cold :(. I think that with these bags baby G will be able to feed himself while I can enjoy hot meals with DD and DH.
