Epson Artisan 835 All-in-One Printer Review & Giveaway -- ENDED

We are huge fans of Epson printers. Our last printer was an Epson all in one printer and it worked wonderfully. When we were given the chance to review the Artisan 835, we knew that we could expect the same fantastic quality from Epson .

My husband was able to set up the printer very easily. For a home printer, it has all of the features we want and more. In addition to be able to photo copy, scan and fax, my favorite feature is its ability to preview, edit and print photos. I usually share photos with friends and family via facebook, photobucket or email, so I don't print a lot of photos. When I do, I would order the prints and pick them up from the store. Even when I use the one hour photo service, it is a hassle to drag 2 kids out of the door, load them into the car, drive to the store, get the kids out of the car and go into the store just to pick up a few prints. With the Epson Artisan 835, I am now able to print great quality photos in the comfort of my own home. So, if my in laws would like photos of the kids or if DD needs to take a picture to school as a part of her show and tell, all I need to do is print out the photo we need using the new Epson printer we got. The ink dries very quickly and they do not come off the photos at all. These photos are lab quality photos, so they are smudge, scratch, water and fade resistant.

As I have mentioned before, you can fax documents with this printer. Although I don't usually send faxes (except for a few times out of the year when I need to send documents to someone asap), it is nice to know that the printer has this function. Also, I want to mention that you can fax color documents with this printer, how awesome is that?!

Scanning documents is super easy too. I just place the documents I want to scan on to the Epson printer. With a push of a button, the printer scans the documents and even sends the file onto my laptop.

The printer has built in wireless connection. My husband was able to set it up without any problems at all. I LOVE this feature because I am able to print documents and photos from my laptop in our master bedroom while the printer is in my husband's office downstairs. Before discovering Epson's all in one printers, we used have a printer by another brand and I would have to hook my laptop up to the printer in order to print the stuff I needed, it was such a hassle. Epson Artisan 835 definitely has made things easier for us.
