Goose Valley Review & 3 Giveaways -- ENDED

Giveaway winners are: #208, 281 & 283. We eat a lot of rice at home, mostly we eat Japanese jasmine rice or brown rice. Although we like wild rice from time to time, but we don't eat them too often. When I received Goose Valley wild rice to review, I was excited to cook them and try them out. Since I rarely make wild rice, I was not sure how well they would turn out.

I took the wild rice I received to review and cooked them on the stove top using chicken broth. Although the back of the package suggested that you add salt or spices to taste, I found that when I used chicken broth the cooked the wild rice it turned out great even without adding any salt or spices in it. One bag of rice makes 8 servings of rice. I must admit that at first I was a bit surprised by how little rice there were for something that's supposed to be 8 servings. However, once we ate some, we realized how filling they were. The Goose Valley wild rice was very tasty and it went very well with the baked chicken I made for dinner.
