Tsukihoshi Children's Shoes Review & Giveaway (ENDED)

DD preschool has a set of policies on the type of footwear the kids are not allowed to wear to school. DD is not permitted to wear open toes shoes, no shoes without backings and the school prefers that all kids wear sneakers. Since the kids spend a lot of time playing in the playground at school, the preschool feels that sneakers are most appropriate for them. Because DD needs to protect her feet at the playground (and also to follow her preschool's policy), we are always looking for cute comfortable shoes that she can easily put on by herself.

When we received DD's first Tuskihoshi shoes in the mail, we were thrilled. The shoes are light, flexible and machine washable. Sometimes DD's shoes would be covered with glue, glitters and paint from doing crafts at the preschool, it is so nice to be able to just toss the shoes in the wash machine for a quick wash. Another great thing about the shoes is that they don't have shoe laces -- which makes them very easy to DD to put on and take off.

In addition to being comfortable, easy to wash and easy for DD to put on and take off, we also love the pink and green color combination. It is so easy to match the the shoes with DD's clothes (since half of the things in her closet is pink ^_^).
