GreenSmart Lunch Bag Review & Giveaway (ENDED)

I love learning about interesting and innovative technologies that make becoming eco friendly and environmentally conscious more fun. Many of you already know that we don't use paper napkins, paper towels, paper plates, disposable utensils and plastic bags at home. We have been using canvas bags to hold DH's lunch for work (I also use canvas bags to hold my lunch for park playdates). The canvas bags, though eco-friendly because they are reusable, don't keep our food cold. As such, when we were given the chance to review GreenSmart Neogreene lunch bag, we could not wait to try it out.

The lunch bag we received to review was the Javan. It has an interior beverage sleeve and two exterior pockets. The full zip makes opening lunch bag easy while the padded handles making carrying it really comfortable.

However, the best part about the lunch bag is that it's made of Neogreene. Neogreene is a water-based material which allows for a much cleaner chemistry than neoprene. As a result, the production of the material uses 25% less petroleum, 25% less energy and completely eliminates the need to use toxin laden solvent adhesives to bind the fabrics to the Neogreene. I love the feel of the material used to make the lunch bag. Furthermore, I love how easy it is to clean up the lunch bag. I just toss it in the washer and it is as good as new. It works great in keeping our lunch cold (which is totally awesome). It is just the right size for an adult portion lunch. The lunch bag is big enough to hold a reusable bottle, a reusable lunch container as well as 2 smaller size reusable snack bags for DH. Last but not least, I love the design of the lunch bag. It is so nice to be able to carry a lunch bag that does not look like everyone else's.
