K'NEX Building Set Review and Giveaway -- ENDED

*I received a free product for review purpose. I did not receive any compensation from the company. All opinions are my own and not influenced in anyway. My reviews are not always positive, but they are my personal and honest opinions. Other people's views and experiences with the show might be different from mine.

Every Christmas, my kids ask for the most popular toys based on commercials they see on TV. We rarely give in buying those hot ticket items because we know too well that as soon as the novelty wears once, these type of toys will be left in the corner of their play room. Instead of buying toys that will be abandoned by my kids after only a few days of play, we prefer to buy toys that will sparkle their imagination and allow them to use their creativity. For this very reason, we love the building sets from K'NEX

We were lucky enough to have received K'NEX Nintendo Layer Cake Desert Building Set and 70 Model Building Set to review

The pieces are too small and complex for my little guy to put together. However, they were perfect for his big sister who is 8 years old. She was able to follow the instruction and build some really cool structures without any help from us.
We love how the pieces snap together and how flexible they are. The different sizes and shapes really allow my daughter to create interesting pieces that other brands' building sets could not. Most importantly, we love that with some many pieces that come in each building set, the possibilities of what she could create is limitless.

After opening the two building sets we got to review, DD ended up putting all of the pieces from Nintendo Layer Cake Desert Building Set and 70 Model Building Set together. The nice thing about K'NEX is that you could mix and match all of the pieces together. After seeing how much fun my daughter had playing with the building sets, even my husband joined in to build a few things with her.

We love K'NEX Building Set. We think that it is a fantastic product and we would recommend it without any hesitations. In our household, my daughter has gotten a lot of play time out of her K'NEX Building Set. Instead of spending your money on the latest fad, why not invest it in something that your child could enjoy for years to come.

To buy the products we received to review, please go to K'NEX official website or Target.com

K'NEX can be found on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube.
Tinkertoy can be found on Facebook and Twitter.
Lincoln Logs can be found on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Many thanks to K'NEX. The company has generously offered a Nintendo Layer Cake Desert Building Set as a giveaway prize to one of my lucky readers. This building set  retails for $64.99. The giveaway ends on Nov 20, 2014.

They have a lot of great sets to like. One that catches my eye is the Intro To Simple Machines: Wheels, Axles & Inclinedplanes :) You can learn WHILE you build, so it's fun and more likely to stick in your brain :)
