Last Spring, readers were introduced to a fury little forest character with a BIG heart -- Hank! This Fall Hank is back with HANK HAS A DREAM (all ages), a brand new adventure that is sure to bring the sweetest of dreams to all who read this perfect bedtime story.
Here are just SOME of the rave reviews HANK HAS A DREAM has received:
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY, ★STARRED REVIEW★ " Dudley...stages the action in carefully crafted and photographed dioramas, this time creating lovely parallels between the 'real' and dream action of the story. Readers will find Hank’s subconscious travels every bit as enticing as his forest wanderings."
AMERICAN LIBRARY ASSOCIATION BOOKLIST “As before, Dudley’s images are awesome: delicate dioramas handmade from materials like clay, paper, wire, and fabric and then photographed with shallow focus to make them come popping to life. The tone is understated and sweet, and when the hummingbird asks to hear the entire dream again, Hank complies—and adult readers should also be ready to accede to similar requests from their listeners."
KIRKUS “Meticulously crafted.”
CHICAGO TRIBUNE “Magically, unmistakably alive.”

Rebecca Dudley's highly praised, hand-crafted dioramas and characters -- combined with minimal text -- highlights the magic of friendship and lets young readers' imagination soar. Our Review:
Hank has a Dream is a wonderful children's book that is told through fantastic dioramas. The story is narrated through short sentences that are easy for my preschooler to understand. In it, Hank dreams about flying. What we loved the most about the story was even though Hank was all by himself, he was not at all scared. Instead, he flew and enjoyed everything he saw around him as he traveled. My little guy loves reading this book before going to bed. In fact, even my 8 year old daughter thought that this book is adorable.
