Zerorez SoCal Offers the Right Way to Clean

*I received free service and compensation for review purpose. All opinions are my own and not influenced in anyway. My reviews are not always positive, but they are my personal and honest opinions. Other people's views and experiences with the product or products might be different from mine.

I was selected to be one of the twenty five ambassadors to Zerorez Socal. If you have seen my carpet, you will know exactly the reason why I was super excited. Between 2 children who spill drinks, drop food, track in dirt on their shoes, along with constantly hosting play dates and having BBQ parties, our carpet is a mess. It definitely does not help that we have light cream color carpet through out the house. It might have looked beautiful when we installed it 3 years ago, but every time I look at it now, I regret my decision for getting such a light color carpet. Although we have had our carpet cleaned in the past, I just felt that the carpet never looked as nice as when we first got it.

Between carpet cleanings from professional carpet cleaners, I would use eco-friendly cleaning products to try to get the stains out. I am mostly concerned that the chemicals used in household cleaners are harmful to us. I am worried that it's harmful for me to inhale the chemicals and a hazard for my kids to touch the surfaces that I used the cleaning products on. According to Organic Consumers Association,

in 2000, cleaning products were responsible for nearly 10% of all toxic exposures reported to U.S. Poison Control Centers, accounting for 206,636 calls. Of these, 120,434 exposures involved children under six, who can swallow or spill cleaners stored or left open inside the home.

Due to my concern of the chemicals used in household cleaning products, I began to use green cleaning products many years ago. However, I recently learned from Dr. Mercola that

Commercial cleaning products, even "green" ones clean faster than soap and water can because they contain small amounts of the most powerful grease-cutting class of chemicals known -- glycol ethers. In laboratory animals, low-level exposure to glycol ethers has caused birth defects and damage to sperm and testicles. The most commonly used glycol ether, 2-butoxyethanol, has been shown to cause liver cancer in animals.

After my researches on cleaning products, I realized that green products don't necessary mean that they are safe to use. I think that this is what makes Zerorez SoCal so amazing. Did you know that Zerorez SoCal does not use any chemicals or soap to clean your home?!

A couple of weeks ago, the company sent out Keith to clean 3 areas of our carpet. I selected 3 most stained areas of our home: the staircase, the kids' playroom and the master bedroom to be cleaned. Here's a before photo of our staircase.
This is the before photo of the stained carpet in the playroom.
Keith from Zerorez SoCal was super helpful. He addressed all of the questions I had for him. Before he began cleaning my carpet, I noticed that he was spraying a solution onto the stains. I asked him what it was and he explained that it was citrus peel in water.
After Keith was done cleaning our carpet, it looked amazing. I could not believe what a huge difference it made.

This is the after photo of my staircase. Wow! Wow! Wow!
After spraying citrus peel water on the stains, Keith simply cleaned the carpet using Alkaline water. What makes Zerorez Socal green is that everything they used in my home was completely safe. The Alkaline water is just water with high PH, so it was even safe for me to drink it. Yes, I drank the water myself. Although it did not taste like tap water (it was just a bit salty and bitter), but I drank it and I felt totally fine afterwards.
Keith did an AMAZING job cleaning my carpet for me. Because of him, my carpet looks brand new! He was not only helpful, he was also very polite and courteous. In fact, I had mentioned to my friend Kelli about how impressed I was with Zerorez Socal and Keith. She told me that she actually had been using the same service for carpet cleaning for a few years. By sheer coincidence, She also noted that she would always request Keith too because he does such an fantastic job on their carpet.
Zerorez Socal is affordable and reasonably priced. I am so impressed with their costumer service and the excellent work Keith has done on my carpet that I would recommend the company without any hesitations.

These tips should help us deal with the momentary inconveniences that usually befall our housekeeping. Much as we will have to resort to professional cleaning service, should matters escalate.
