Vintage Style Holiday Candle Craft

This is a easy and sample craft project that literally takes minutes to complete. The materials are very reasonably priced too. You could recreate your own candles for less than $2 each.

Materials needed:
Candles (I got mine from the 99 cent store)
Craft Papers (from Michael's, Joanne or Hobby Lobby)
1/8" inch ribbons
Mod Podge
Paint brush
Small bells
Use scissors to cut the craft paper so that it would cover your candle. Then, apply a thin coat of Mod Podge to your candle; quickly wrap the craft paper around the candle. During this process, make sure that your design is not upside down. Next, apply a thin coat of Mod Podge onto the outside of the craft paper. The Mod Podge will dry in just a couple of minutes. Take your ribbon (any length you like) and tie 2 small bells at the end. If you like to wrap the ribbon around the candle more than a couple of times, be sure to cut a longer ribbon from the spool. Lastly, wrap and tie the ribbon (with the bells at each end) around the candle.

Here's what candles look like once it is done.
You could use them around the house or give them away as gifts :).

Happy Crafting!
