Starburst Candy Corn Craft

*I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Starburst. I received product samples to facilitate my review and promotional item as a thank you for participating.

My kids love Halloween for some pretty obvious reasons. They get to dress up in their costumes and they get to eat candy too. But another reason why they love Halloween is because all of the Fall theme crafts we do in our household.

In the past, I have made Halloween theme picture frames and wall hangings with my kids.  The picture frames we made was a huge hit with the kids and the grandparents. I took pictures of my kids in their Halloween costumes and put the pictures in frames. Then, my kids got to decorated the frames by gluing pieces of candies onto them. Of course, they got to eat the candy while they were decorating the frames, so it was extra fun for them. This year, they are looking forward to doing more crafts with me. Although I usually craft with my kids, sometimes it is relaxing for me to do some on my own.

I received some Starburst Candy Corn to help me do a craft. Since I don't have much spare time, I wanted to do a easy craft that I could use for the Halloween theme dinner party we are hosting coming up. Since there will be at least 12 of us, I thought I would make little candy jar for each person at the table.

The materials included: glass jars (1 jar for each guest), silk flowers (1 for each jar), ribbons, glue gun, scissors and  Starburst Candy Corn.
This craft is pretty easy, it only takes me a few minutes to one jar. To begin, I simply fill up the small jar with the Starburst Candy Corn. Then, I glued some ribbons to the lid and tied a bow. I glued candy corn to the side of the lid. Lastly, I glued the silk flower to the top of the lid.

This is what the final project looks like. Because the dinner party will take place in our backyard, I thought this would be prefect little party favor for our guests to enjoy at the party or to take home to their kids.
If you want to get creative, I highly recommend checking the Starburst Candy Corn Craft Facebook Page. There are some great ideas featured by Tori Spelling that I am looking forward to recreating.

Look at how cute the Boo sign is. The letters are covered in Starburst Candy Corn.
I am especially a fan of the Starburst Candy Corn cupcakes. I definitely will be making my kids these for Halloween this year.

Starburst Candy Corn  is not just great for crafting, it is also yummy! The nice thing about doing the craft on my own is that my kids couldn't eat all the candy while I was working. However, I have to admit I ate my fair share while I decorated one dozen jars of Starburst Candy Corn.
