For someone who enjoy eating chocolate as much as DD does, she loves the idea of having a countdown calendar for Halloween. She gets to eat a piece of candy everyday for 2 weeks until the day of Halloween, then she gets to eat a whole lot more candy. It's every kid's dream come true.
Countdown Cal makes waiting much more fun for kids by allowing them to count down using cute calendars where they could pop a window each day for a piece of foiled wrap chocolate. For the Halloween countdown calendar, the foil wrapping reflect the holiday and they are just too cute to eat, in my opinion. Of course, DD had no problems eating the chocolates. We opened up one of the calendars so we could test it out for the review. DD thoroughly enjoyed eating the chocolate. She also liked the way the calendar was designed.
DD has no complaints about the countdown calendar what so ever. I also agree that it is a great product. I only wish that there could be an option for different treats in the pop up calendar for kids who do not like milk chocolate or kids on a gluten free diet. Many of DD's friends have diet restrictions. I hope that Countdown Cal will consider offering more options in the future so I could buy them to give away as gifts.
