Jaggar the T-Rex turns into a construction truck but you could switch it back to its dinosaur form pretty easily. It did not take DD anytime at all to figure out the mechanisms of these VTech toys, but her 2 year old brother could not do it without her assistance. Although these are made for older kids (ages 3 to 8), the G man loves it as much as DD does. The T-Rax responses to commands so DD would regularly scream for it to move forward. She especially likes it when it "talks" or "roars." When she commands "Roar with me," Jaggar actually opens its mouth and roars.
When you get the smaller versions of dinosaurs, they also "talk" and makes noises, but you could not command them like the larger/more complex designed dinosaurs do. However, that does not take away from how special the small dinosaurs are. My kids still enjoy playing with them. These Switch & Go Dinos make great toys on to go! The G man has been carrying one with him when we leave the house. What I like about is that it's a 2 in 1 toy so he could play with it as a dinosaur or as a vehicle.
Many thanks to VTech. The company has generously offered 3 VTech Switch & Go Dinos as giveaway prizes to one of my lucky readers. Each of these toys retails for $12.99 each. This giveaway ends on Sep 12, 2013.
