I was not sure if my kids would like this DVD when we received a copy of it to review. I thought that the G man would probably be too young for it and I was right. After watching it for about 5 minutes, he walked away. DD, in contrast, really enjoyed watching it. Since her little brother showed no interest, she asked if she could put the DVD in her portable DVD player and watch it by herself. She did and she really liked it. In fact, we recently got 2 large pond turtles for the kids. She took her DVD player and sat down next to the tank and watched the movie with her turtle. It was pretty cute, lol. This DVD comes with a poster that DD happily hung up on her bedroom wall. I imagine that if my 7 year old daughter likes this DVD that much, it is likely to be a big hit with boys her age too.
