In honor of National Iced Tea Month, Salada sent me three different family size iced tea to check out. I don't know if you have noticed, but it has gotten pretty hot lately. Making a pitcher of ice tea and drink it while relaxing by the pool is a great way to stay cool on those hot summer days.
To make a pitcher of the iced tea, I simply add 1 tea bag to about 1 quart of hot water. You can steep the tea bag for up to 5 minutes, but I don't like my tea too strong, so 3 minutes is plenty for me. After the tea cools, I would sweeten it with little honey or sugar, and then keep the pitcher in the refrigerator. When we have friends over for playdates, I like to make my iced tea the night before or the morning of the event so that the iced tea is nice and cold when I serve it to my guests.
Want to stay cool this summer? Be sure to pick up some Salada Ice Tea. I liked all of the favors I received to review, but I thought that the berry patch was especially yummy! When serving it to my guests, I even added some blueberries into their glasses to make it even more appealing to the eyes.
