The company generously sent us a 10 stage water filter system along with 2 stainless steel water bottles to review.
• Chlorine and Chloramines
• Herbicides and Pesticides
• Hydrogen Sulfide (rotten egg odor)
• Trihalomethanes (cancer-causing organic/chlorine compounds)
• Microorganisms such as cysts, giardia, cryptosporidium, protozoa, etc.
• Heavy metals like lead, mercury, cadmium, etc.
• Organic Arsenic
• And dozens of other contaminants!
Setting up the water filter is really easy. It came with all of the parts we needed to hook it up to our faucet. We wanted to install it in the kitchen at first but then we decided that we would get more use out of it in our patio area, so that's where my husband ended up putting it.
The stainless bottles are prefect sizes for me and DD. Since we be be busy all summer long, it is nice to be able to get our filtered water in such large bottles. We are huge fans of stainless steel because there no weird plastic taste in our water if we leave our water bottle in the hot car for too long. More importantly, by using only reusable bottles, we are not creating unnecessary waste that's bad for the environment.
