WORDGIRL: WORDGIRL VS. THE ENERGY MONSTER
Street Date: May 14, 2013
Genre: Children’s Programming
Run Time: 50 Minutes
This animation stars an WordGirl who has super power whose real name is Becky. While not fighting crime, WordGirl is a 5th grade student. This DVD contains 4 episodes and 8 new vocabulary words. When we received this DVD to review, I was worried that DD might be a bit too young to enjoy it. However, she loves this show. It is entertaining and it's educational too, so this DVD gets two thumbs up from me. I love that DD gets to learn new words and see them being used in different contexts. I only wish that there were more vocabulary words included in each episode. All in all, this is a great show that's appropriate for grade school children.
