HALO SleepSack Big Kids Review & Giveaway -- ENDED

The G man has been wearing sleep wraps and sleepsacks since the day he was born. He has outgrown many of them, and I have found that it is getting harder to find one that fits my little giant. Even though my little guy just turned 2 years old, he is very tall for his age; as such, I have a difficult time finding a sleepsack that will accommodate his height. Luckily, HALO SleepSack offers them in big kids sizes so G could continue to wear sleepsacks.

HALO Innovation’s SleepSack® wearable blankets have become the standard for hospital nurseries and parents alike. In fact, almost 1,000 hospital nurseries use the HALO SleepSack Swaddle instead of blankets through the HALO Safer Way to Sleep Initiative. As your child grows from baby to toddler, HALO Innovations offers the SleepSack Early Walker and SleepSack Big Kids - now in a new lightweight- knit fabric.  HALO SleepSack Early Walker and SleepSack Big Kids offer your child the warmth and security of a SleepSack so he can fall asleep fast and sleep soundly throughout the night as well as unique foot openings for more mobility when awake.

I love sleepsacks because I don't have to worry about G taking off this wearable blanket in the middle of the night. I also don't have to worry that he would pull the blanket over his head, accidentally covering his face with it. Because of the HALO SleepSack, he could sleep soundly and I could too.
The main difference between an infant SleepSack and a big kids SleepSack is that the one for older kids have openings for their feet. While G is getting ready for bed, he likes to run around the house and help us turn the TV and lights off, the infant SleepSack would not allow him to do that. But with the big kid SleepSack, he could run around until bedtime. Once we put him in his crib, we would pull the SleepSack all the way down so that his feet are inside of the sack.

The SleepSack Early Walker and Big Kids are now available in a new lightweight-knit fabric as well as available in Micro-fleece and Comfort Mesh. These are available for purchase on amazon.com: SleepSack Early Walker and SleepSack Big Kids.
