Portable North Pole Review

At 6 years old, my daughter still believes in the magic of Santa. On December 1st, our family elf returns from Santa's Workshop and lives with us until Christmas eve in order to keep an eye on how well the kids are behaving. I don't know how much longer she will be believing in Santa, but I think it's incredible sweet that she continues to anticipate for his arrival on Christmas eve with so much excitement.

Normally we don't write letters to Santa or have Santa call her. This year, we were lucky enough to received a code to Portable North Pole to try out their service. Their basic personalized video message from Santa is free, but we got the premium version to try out. With it, we were able to download the video & saved on my PC so that we could have a record of it for years to come. To set up the personalized video, I just answered a series of questions (which only took me a few minutes), then I got an email with the link to watch the video online as well as to download. The video itself is 6 minutes long. I love that it is so personalized that it seems very authentic (like it's a real video recording from Santa made just for my daughter). My daughter, as expected, loved the video. She promises to be on her best behavior so that she doesn't let Santa down.

The phone call is also very easy to set up. It lasts about 2 minutes long and my daughter was overjoyed to hear Santa's voice. The only thing I would change about the phone call from Santa is that I wish there was an option to pre-set a date and time instead of having it call your number as soon as you input  the information.

After trying Portable North Pole, I would definitely recommend it. I think it's a great service that keeps the magic going. I know that my daughter will stop believing in  Santa sooner than I like, but in the mean time, I love being able to surprise her with things like videos, phone calls and letters from Santa.

I really use to love this service till I ran into an issue with it utilizing the wrong state name. We contacted support within minutes if placing the order for one if the paid Premium Plus levels and after weeks of no reply were finally told sorry you made the mistake of putting the wrong state so your out of luck. To choose the wrong state not once but numerous times at numerous locations? Sorry not having it and very disappoints at their lack of willingness to help and the lack of communication.

Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience. We loved the service, but I never had to contact their customer service support before. It's a bummer to hear that it did not work out for you :(.
