Happy Halloween !!!

October came and went so quickly! Even though DD has been busy with school homework, art classes, gymnastic lessons, choir practices and Chinese school, we managed to do a few fun events this month. I am not sure how we were able to do it all, but somehow we got it all in!

This month, we took the the kids apple picking. We went with three other families. We started the morning picking apples, then we had lunch together, and then we finished the day by getting some apple pies.We got so lucky that our kids have become best friends and the moms just adore each other. I am seriously counting my blessings!

We also celebrated the birthday of one's DD's best friends!

Finally, yesterday afternoon, we went to my husband's work to participate in their annual Halloween Trick Treating. Within an hour, the kids filled their buckets completely. Needless to day, they both had a wonderful time visiting daddy's office.

Now that DD is in first grade, it is harder to find the time to do fun activities  with her. However, we made up for it by spending quality time doing things they love. We might not be wealthy, but we are surrounded by the people/friends we love, and that is priceless! Life is good!
