When I am shopping for scarves for shawls, I am not just look for the right color or the softest material, I am also checking out where is it made. Whenever I am able to support a cause with my purchase, I am more likely to buy it. At TRAIDCRAFT, I discovered this beautiful Indian Paisley Wool Shawl that's worth picking up.
I love the size of the shawl, the bright beautiful colors and of course I love that it is made of wool. It will definitely keep me warm on those cold winter nights when I am out with friends. Most importantly, I love that this shawl is made in India by an organization called the GKK. The organization provides regular employment for around 100 women embroiderers, who are paid twenty-five to thirty percent above the normal rate for the region and also benefit from the setting up of their own bank accounts. GKK provides other benefits, such as paying medical expenses and providing some literacy and health education for workers.
If you want to look fabulous while helping out on a wonderful cause, be sure to visit TRAIDCRAFT the next time you are shopping online.
