Mattel Polly Pocket Review

When DD is done with her homework, she asks if she could have some playtime before going to bed. Lately, she has been playing with her Polly Pockets every night. She recently received Polly Pocket Playtime Pet Shop Play Set along with Polly Pockets DVD to review. She especially likes to be able to play with her toys and watch the DVD at the same time. I think seeing one of her favorite toys on the living room TV screen is really exciting for her. She would watch the DVD and try the act out the scene with her toys, lol.

This new set of Polly Pocket is a little different from the previous one she received to review. There's a lot more small pieces to keep track of -- like the dog bones. We just store all of the pieces in a large ziplock bag for her. Of course, the play set itself is also different, but DD enjoys playing with it as much as the last one she got. DD has always been a fan of Polly Pockets, but the slightly larger dolls with the suction cups just made them that much better!

We love that  the Polly Pockets are portable and fun to play with. DD could easily carry them in her pockets or her purse and bring them along for visits to Grandparents' house or on a long car trip. We also think that it's great these toys are so durable. They have been played with pretty roughly by both of my kids and they are still in great shape.
