The first game DD received to review was Spot It! The concept behind this game is really sample. The cards have pictures of different objects on them and you just need to spot the matching ones between the two cards. DD loves this game, although I suspect that one of the big reasons is because she wins every time we play it together. My little girl has some sharp eyes! The second game DD got to check out was Tell Tale Fairy Tales. There are 120 cards in this game and each card has an image on it to indicate a setting, a location or a character. By randomly selecting cards, your child gets to make up a fairy tale using the cards provided. I usually give DD about 10 cards for her to make up a story. To make it more educational. After she tells me her new fairy tale, I would have her write it down (I would assist her with the words she needs help spelling). I have found that this has really helped her with her writing and spelling.
We really enjoy the two games we received to review, and we think your family will too! To check out these games, please visit Blue Orange website.
Many thanks to Blue Orange. The company has generously offered1 Spot It game as a giveaway prize to one of my lucky readers. This giveaway ends on Sep 25th, 2012.
