Our Review:
For a film that was released in 1977, The Rescuers still captures my daughter's imagination in 2012. The movies is about an international mouse organization rescuing an orphan. In the process of saving the girls (who eventually gets adopted), the rescuers also recovered the world's largest diamond. The Rescuers Down Under takes places in the Australian Outback. This time around, the Rescue Aid Society saves a young boy named Cody. The young boy was in danger because he refused to give up the whereabouts of a a rare golden eagle called Marahute. With the help of the rescuers, Cody and the eggs from the eagle's nest were saved. Out of the bonus features, my daughter was especially fascinated by the Making of Rescuers Down Under. She enjoys watching how the animation she loves came to life. She also likes the sing along. If you have a child who loves to sing as much as mine does, I would suggest playing these bonus features for him/her.
