When we received the new Polly Pockets to review, I was surprised by how different they look from the ones DD has been playing with for years.
First of all, her old Polly Pocket dolls came with some small pieces of accessories, but nothing as cool as a house for the dolls, so she was super excited about that. We noticed that the dolls are slightly larger in size which made handling them much easier for DD's little fingers. However, they are still compact enough that DD could carry the dolls in her pants pocket. Another modification is the suction cups on the bottom of the dolls' shoes and accessories. DD was a little confused by the suction bottoms at first, she was not sure why they were there. After arranging the furniture pieces in the play house, she realized how great the suction bottoms were. These little suction bottoms made sure that all of the tiny little accessories stay in place. This modification on Polly Pocket definitely made playing with the dolls much more fun. After playing with the dolls normally for awhile, DD began to use the suction bottoms in new ways-- like sticking all of the furniture pieces off the playhouse ceiling to create an upside down world for her Polly Pocket dolls.
All in all, we were very happy with the changes made to the Polly Pockets DD received to review. In fact, she loves them so much that we are going to buy a few more of them to add to her collection.
