Here's I am waiting for the grand opening :).
While we were waiting, I got a chance to chat with the CEO of Hanna Andersson. Mr. Stone was clearly very passionate about the brand. It was wonderful to speak to him about the visions he has for the company and his desire to please the customers. I was especially impressed by his concept of making Hanna Andersson an eco-friendly brand. As a mom who is not only concerned about the quality of clothes I purchase for my kids but also how these clothing are made (organic cotton, carbon footprint and so forth), I really appreciate it when a company looks out for Mother Nature.
My friends Denise and Christine were able to join me. We shopped while enjoying delicious treats were served. Everyone was happy!
I decided to include a photo of a dress. Denise was holding a dress and flipping it inside out. The workmanship is amazing. I love that Hanna Andersson is a company that pays attention to every little detail-- from the buttons they used down to the stitching on the inside of their clothes.
As I have mentioned before, I am a huge fan of Hanna Andersson. We have been shopping there for years. I found a picture of DD (from December of 2007). I took her to the Hanna Andersson store in Newport Beach, CA where she found a couple of dresses she liked. As we were walking out the store, she insisted on carrying her own shopping bag, lol.
There are many reasons why we love Hanna Andersson. Their clothes are well constructed. The colors and prints are beautiful. Their fabric is preshrunk so you don't have to worry about their clothing not fitting your kids properly after a couple of washes. Most importantly, if you are on a tight budget and you are looking for clothes that could be passed down from one child to the next, this is the brand for you! We have owned many Hanna Andersson dresses that were still in excellent condition after DD outgrew them. We were able to passed her clothes to my cousin's little girl so we are getting lots of uses out of these dresses.
If you are living in the South Orange County area, be sure to check out the brand new Hanna Andersson store inside The Shops at Mission Viejo. If that's too far for you, you could still buy their fantastic clothes on the Hanna Andersson website.
Many thanks to BSM Media and Hanna Andersson for including my friends and I in this special Grand Opening Event!
