D-Link MovieNite Plus Streaming Media Player Review & Giveaway -- ENDED

My family streams a lot of movies and TV shows online, so when I was contacted by D-Link to check out their MovieNite Plus, I was pretty excited. If I am watching a video by myself, then I usually use my iPad. When we have family movie nights or if the kids want to watch a movie we don't own, then we would stream it through Netflix. In the past, we have used our wii systems to watch Netflix. The thing that bothers me is that it is a hassle to turn on the wii, have it go to Netflix and select the movie we want to watch. And there is the issue that there are certain websites I use  to stream videos and the wii does not have the capability for me to stream videos from them.

When our D-Link Movienite Plus arrived, my husband was in charge of hooking it all up. He set it up in our exercise room and I could not believe it when he called for me 5 minutes later to tell me it was all done. The first thing he showed me was the remote. Since I use Netflix daily, I was super excited to see that there is a Netflix on the remote just for me ;). My husband, on the other hand, watches Youtube so he got what he wanted too!

When my husband turned it on, I was amazed by how quickly it could browse through all of our options. It was so easy to use and select the movies I want to watch on Netflix. This has made running on the treadmill much more pleasant for me. 

My husband was especially impressed by how small the MovieNite Plus system was. He actually set it up on the back of our flat screen TV. It's the little black box that my orange arrow is pointing at.

After showing me how everything works, my husband commented on how easy it was to set everything. He plugged it, had it search for our wireless connection and it was ready to go in just a couple of minutes.

In addition to the facts that it was easy to install, has all of our favorite streaming channels on it, I also love that I could watch CrunchyRoll using the MovieNite plus. If I am not watching something on Netflix, then I am watching Korean soap operas or Japanese Animations on  CrunchyRoll so being able to use this device for that is icing on the cake for me.
