Doodlepedia Review & Giveaway -- ENDED

Doodlepedia is a fact-packed drawing and coloring book that will change the way you look at learning. Kids will sharpen their pencils as well as their thinking with this interactive coloring doodle book. Fun, informative, and entirely unique, this encyclopedia gets kids thinking and learning by placing them right in the action. Readers are tasked with completing drawings, creating illustrations, coloring images, adding finishing touches, and designing their own scenes-learning about science, space, nature, people, technology, popular culture, and more along the way! Reading has never been so hands-on.

DD loves to draw and doodle, she does it for hours every day. When she was younger, we would buy her coloring books and they were good enough for her a couple of years ago. However, now that she is older, she is not at all interested in coloring books anymore. Frankly, the simple coloring process bores her.

For kids like my daughter who loves being creative and draw things out on her own, Doodlepedia is the perfect book for her. On each page, there are fun facts along with simple instructions to either color or draw.  For instance, DD learned all about carnivorous plants and then got use her imagination to draw her own bug eating monster plant.

All in all, we thought this was a great book for DD. It not only kept her entertained, she also learned a lot of interesting things while working through the book. We think this is a great book to have on hand this summer.
