The company was very generously, they actually sent me products for both me and the kids to try out. We received Coconut Cream Hair Butter, Baby Bottom Moisturizing Balm, Shea Nilotica Butter, and Mango Detangler to review. As with most hair and body care products I purchased for myself, the first thing I did was smelling the Marie Dean items. I was not going to put anything with a weird scent on myself or my kids. Having tried all of the products, I could assure you that these Marie Dean Hair and Body Care merchandise smell amazing.
I used the Coconut Cream Hair Butter on my hair. I love that a little bit goes a long way. Not only that my hair smells great after using it, I love that I able to comb through my hair very easily. I have also been using the Shea Nilotica Butter on my skin. Sometimes I would apply lotion on my skin several times a day because it gets so dry in Southern California. With the Shea Nilotica Butter, I noticed I haven't need to use it as often. The Baby Bottom Moisturizing Balm works very well on baby G's skin. I noticed that with a lot of lotions, baby G's skin felt pretty dried out in the mornings even though I just applied the lotions right before he went to bed. With the Baby Bottom Moisturizing Balm, baby G's skin is still silk soft the next day. Last but not least, DD has been using the Mango Detangler. She typically uses detanglers that come in a spray bottle, so it took her a few tries to figure out how to apply the cream style detangler on her own hair. Now that she has it down, she loves using it. She not only adores the yummy scent, she also likes the fact that she could comb through her own hair with my help at all.
