I remember getting my first cordless phone when I moved out of my parents' house many years ago. I was excited because I was no longer stuck in place (restricted by the cord), I could move around and do things while I was on the phone. Now, as a busy mom of two, I must admit that I have grown unsatisfied with my latest cordless phone. My husband bought them just a couple of years ago, so they look nice and work well enough. However, I do have some complains. First of all, I can't hold baby G, doing chores around the house and talk on the phone all at the same time. What often ended up happening is that I would hold the cordless phone with my shoulder and try to hold the baby in one arm and do household chores with the other hand. Sounds crazy? Well, it is definitely a balancing act that I am not very good at.
I am not on our home phone that often, but when I do it is usually an important call. For instance, just earlier this month, I was on the phone for over an hour talking to our accountant about our taxes. Baby G was fussing because he wanted milk and I was on the phone talking to our accountant while trying to make dinner all at the same time. Because I could not do it all, I ended up putting her on hold. It's for this exact reason why as soon as I saw the VTech Two Handset Cordless Answering System LS6475-3 I knew I had to have it.
VTech Two Handset Cordless Answering System LS6475-3 also comes with a digital answering system which means that there is no tapes or moving parts. I could check our messages on the main phone system and on any handset too.
