When I heard about Philips Avent new toddler cups, I was eager to give them a try. I have tried a lot of different brands of sippy cups with DD when she was a toddler. I must admit that I did not like most of them. They were either hard to clean or they leaked very easily.
As soon as I received the Philips Avent cups to try, right away I noticed a few things I really like about them. The 12 oz straw cups had cute designs on them that were very catchy to the eyes. I like that the twist lid not only keeps straw hygienic, it also prevents baby G's water from spilling all over my diaper bag. I also like that they were easy to clean.
natural drinking cup, on the other hand, was harder to take apart and clean up. However, it was easier for baby G to drink out of it. With the straw cup, he hasn't quite figure out how to suck from a straw yet, so it's a challenge for him to use it. In comparison, with the natural drinking cup, all he has to do is press his lips against the rim of the cup to get the liquid to flow out.
While we like both styles of cups we received to review, I prefer using them for different occasions. For the straw cups, I would use them when we are on the go, but I like using the natural cup when we have meals at home.
Avent a try.
Many thanks to Philips Avent. The company has generously offered the same products I received to review as giveaway prizes to one of my lucky readers. This giveaway ends on April 11, 2012.
