Mission CrossFit Review

For a couple of months,  I was jogging on our treadmill at home at least 3 days a week. I was hoping to lose some weight I gained during my pregnancy with baby G (plus I still had to lose the weight I gained from having DD many years ago, lol). Since I did not see any results, I knew it was time to get professional assistance. I started doing CrossFit. CrossFit is a health and fitness program that achieves a very broad, general fitness that is applicable to everyday life. CrossFit is a blend of nutrition, metabolic conditioning, gymnastics, weightlifting (Olympic and Power), and throwing. You can learn more basic concept behind CrossFit here: http://www.missioncrossfit.com/resources/crossfit-101/

I finished my on-ramp program -- it's classes for beginners like me to learn the basic techniques. After 12 lessons, I joined the rest of the group and began my official CrossFit workouts. I workout at least 3 days out of the week. I would wake up at 6 in the morning to make it to CrossFit for the 6:30 class. I must admit that it is very hard for me to wake up that early in the morning. I like to sleep in. But, now that I am older, I understand the importance of staying healthy, not just for myself but for my kids as well. I still struggle every morning to wake up just so I can go workout for an hour, but I really do feel better and more energized after my workouts.

If you want the benefit of having a personal trainer and a great workout, then CrossFit is for you. Although the workouts are in group/class settings, I am always able to get the assistance I needed each time I am there. If you are in the Orange County, CA area, be sure to check out Mission CrossFit. The trainers are super nice and so are the other people I work out with every time I am there. You will not regret checking it out. Also, if you haven't tried CrossFit before, you can also sign up to try a class for free. Just go to the CrossFit website and contacted Justin by phone or email to set up a time.
