I love candy. I know, I know, who does not right? Needless to say, my daughter loves candy as well. Of course, being a responsible parent means that I have to limit her sugar intake. I only give her candy on special occasions and when I host playdates I will sometimes spoil the kids with candy as well.
ACandyStore.com is a fantastic place to buy bulk candy at great prices. When I go to the mall, sometimes I would stop by the candy shop to buy sour candy. However, since the store weight the candy and charges according to the weight, I found it a bit too expensive to shop there. At ACandyStore.com, I was able to find the sour candy my husband and I love to eat at very reasonable prices.

My review candy arrived packaged very well and very quickly. I must admit that I was a bit surprised by how much candy there was in the package. I kept some for ourselves and gave some away to friends with small children.

I am impressed by the quality of candy I received to review and I thought the customer service was great as well. I will definitely be buying more candy there in the future.

Western Chief Children's Rain Boots Review & Giveaway -- ENDED

Western Chief makes the most adorable children's rain boots. I have seen the brand in the store before but typically I see the frog and kitty style rain boots carried by the store, I had no idea that the company offers so many different cute designs until I visited its website.

We were given a chance to try a pair of their rain boots. It was really hard to pick 1 pair because all of them look so cute. After looking through all of them several times, DD finally settled on this cute pair of hello kitty rain boots.
When the rain boots arrived, DD was over the moon. They were as cute in person as they were on the website. DD loves that the rain boots come with the loops on the sides because they made it very easy to DD to put them on.

DD does not really care for the rain -- because it means that she does not get to play at the park. However, she loves being able to jump in muddy puddles with her rain boots on. These rain boots arrived just when it was beginning to rain in Southern California last month. It was raining on and off for a couple of weeks, so they could not have come at a better time.

Because these rain boots are so adorable, DD wears them even when it is not raining out, lol!

Sweetsation Therapy Review & Giveaway -- ENDED

Not too long ago, I reviewed Sweetsation Therapy's Chub*Stick with Chamomile & Zinc, Diaper Ointment, 2oz and Sun'n'Berry Fun Organic Baby Sunscreen SPF 50+, with Antioxidants & Superberries 3.5oz. I used their products on my kids and thought they were great, so when I was given the chance to work with the company again for another review & giveaway, I just could not resist.

I received the Lumi*Essence Organic Advanced Brightening Repair Treatment with Kojic Acid, Arbutin & Vitamin C, 2oz to review.
Now, I must admit that I was a bit skeptical on how well this product will work. The company claims that Lumi*Essence visibly corrects dark spots and helps even skin tone with a breakthrough formula that delivers professional-grade results. It contains Kojic Acid (helps lighten and reduce the appearance of dark spots), Alpha-Arbutin ( derived from the leaves of cranberry, blueberry and bearberry shrubs. Skin lightening agent that prevents conversion of pigment-forming enzymes) Papaya and Pineapple extract (provides intense exfoliation to help reduce the size and color intensity of dark spots and help even skin tone). Since I do spend a lot of time out in the sun when I take the kids to the park for playdates, I have a couple of sun spots on my face. Because I generally don't wear makeup to cover them up, they don't exactly look great. So, I thought I would give this a try to see if it does the job.

After using it for a couple of weeks, I noticed that the sun spots on my face are definitely getting lighter. I was amazed by the results. Not only that the product works, it smells great too! I just use a pea size of it in the morning and at night before I go to bed. Just a little bit of it goes a long way.

My mother passed away from breast cancer when I was in college and my husband's aunt is a breast cancer survivor. OUR REVIEW:
DD is a bit too young to enjoy this movie. However, my friend has two young teenage daughters who love HSM. I invited them over for a movie night at my house after I received the review DVD so that the girls could check it out too. The girls really enjoyed watch the movie. This movie has a bit of everything: friendship, romance, stardom and humor. The girls were a little disappointed that there were not more music (they had hoped for more), but they thought the movie was entertaining overall. The kids were very excited about the bloopers in the extras. The bloopers were fun to watch, but they were really short and the girls wished they were longer.

I cook dinner for my family every night and I love wearing aprons when I am cooking. I wear aprons not only because they help keep my clothes clean, I also find them to be fun to wear. Some of my friends told me that they only wear aprons when they are cooking for dinner parties, but that's not me. I wear them every night because they inspire me to cook yummy food for my family.

I typically shop for cute aprons and I adore the aprons Carolyn's Kitchen offers. I received this teapot apron to review. Just look at how cute it looks! I wore it to cook dinner the same night it arrived. My 5 year old daughter commented on how pretty the apron is and how she would like one just like it.
I thought the apron I received was well constructed. The print is cute and the heart pocket was a really nice touch. If you are looking for something to pick for yourself or your mom for Mother's day, I recommend picking up an apron from Carolyn's Kitchen. The company ships their aprons via priority mail. I received my review apron very quickly and beautifully packaged too!

Navitas Naturals Review & Giveaway -- ENDED

Navitas Naturals offers Nutrient rich whole foods that are tasty and good for you too. The company sent us several packages of different products to review and we thought they were interesting. For example, we received the golden berries and cacao nibs. These are products we would not have normally picked up for ourselves. At first try, I thought they were ok. My husband actually liked them more than I did. However, he suggested that I added them to my yogurt (I like eating plain yogurt with just a bit of honey for breakfast and snacks). Chooka Rain Boots Review

Living in Southern California means that we usually don't get much rain here. However, we got a crazy amount of rain this year. Everyone talked about how the weather has been somewhat odd and all of the my mommy friends were rushing out to buy rain gear for themselves and their kids-- because awhile back it was raining cats and dogs for a couple of weeks. During this time, I was lucky enough to have gotten a pair of Chooka rain boots to review.

PopCorners Review & Giveaway -- ENDED

DD and DH love popcorn. They love all sorts of popcorn, but will they like the popcorn snacks from PopCorners? Well, the company sent us a large box of all of their products to review and my family had a blast trying them all.

DD loved the Popcorners snacks. She called them "popcorn chips," and she thought they were really yummy. DH, on the other hand, was a bit thrown back by the odd shape. But because he is so adventurous when it comes to food, he was excited to try them. He thought that they were good. After trying all of the different favors, he liked the butter one the best.

Gomu Eraserland Review

DD has been learning how to write for awhile now. She knows to write her name, the alphabets and numbers. We started working on writing the alphabets last year and DD had some problems writing a few of the letters. That's when I introduced her to an eraser and everytime she makes an error, she would use the boring old eraser I had left over from my college days. Then I was asked to review the Gomu Eraserland erasers.

DD received an assortment of erasers to review. They are almost too cute to be used. DD actually uses them as toys. When I asked her if she wanted to use them as what they were intended for, she did not want to. Eventually she picked one she liked the least to use as an eraser. The rest of them are now being stored in her treasure box.

These erasers makes removing mistakes fun and DD can not wait to collect all of them.

Baskin-Robbins 31 cents Scoop Night

Did you make it to Baskin-Robbins 31 cents scoop night last night? I took DD there after I picked her up from preschool yesterday. She loved the ice cream and it was a special treat for her to be getting ice cream on a weekday after she got out of school. It was a nice change of our normal routine. I think I am going to do this with her more often because we got to spend some quality time together while we enjoyed the ice cream :).
