REAL-MONEY TALKING CASH REGISTER
RING UP REAL MONEY
It talks, it counts, it’s the 3 Language Talking Cash Register. It even teaches your child to count in three languages: English, Spanish and French. Use the handheld scanner to read barcode stickers (included) or call up a price check over the loudspeaker microphone. The talking keypad announces your entries and totals while the digital display shows them. The included credit card and play money will help you get started. When you’re tired of play money, use the cash drawer to store real bills and coins!
When DD shops with me at the stores, she would sometimes ask me to buy things for her. When I tell her that it's too expensive, she would often reply that she has money in her piggy bank to pay for it. DD watches me buy and pay for stuff at the stores, but she has very limited understanding of how much things cost and how much money she needs to pay for the toys she wants. With a cash register such as this one, we are able to play pretend and practice on picking up things within her budget and paying for them with her own money.
The cash register does come with fake money, but the it is made so that you can also put real money in it. It has a hand-held scanner that lights up and reads barcode stickers. The stickers are included and I put these stickers on some of the kids' toys. The talking pad plays in English, Spanish and French. The talking keypad announces the entries and total. It also comes with a credit card which we haven't begin using it. I feel like we need a whole lecture just on the topic of credit card usage.
This cash register is great for learning about money and how to use it properly -- I thought this is especially true during the holiday season since this is when many of us overspends. To buy this fun toy, please visit http://www.summittoysshop.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=3050006
