As soon as we got our tickets, DD wanted to get some balloons. I told her to spin the wheels for prizes instead because the line was much shorter. We had 5 spin the wheel tickets (we got 2 from our toy donations and I bought 3 more tickets at $1 each). DD was so good at it that she won a $20 gift card to one of my favorite Mexican food restaurant in the shopping center where the carnival was being held, she also won $3 gift card to Yogurtland, a $5 gift card to a Japanese restaurant and a gift card for a free massage at Burke Williams Spa. Yay!
Then we waited in line for a balloon. We waited, and waited, and waited some more. It was a very long, long wait.
In fact, we waited for so long that poor Baby G fell asleep in his Beco Baby Carrier.
This was the reason why the line was crazy long! He is the best balloon guy I have ever seen.
DD was so excited for her balloon.
Can you guess what he is making?
Doing the finishing touches.
It's a balloon Little Mermaid.
It was love at first sight for DD.
Check out the balloon Buzz my friend Stephanie got for her little boy. Apparently the balloon guy knows how to make all of the Disney characters. I am so going to hire him for DD's birthday party next year!
After jumping around in the bounce house for a good 30 minutes, DD got her face painted.
She sat so still and waited so patiently, I wish she could stay like this when I fix her hair in the mornings.
This was the design she picked all by herself.
We used our $20 gift card to get this huge thing of nachos. This huge plate of nachos along with 2 drinks came out to be $11, so the restaurant ended up giving us $9 cash back from the remaining balance on the gift card.
