Film Synopsis:
Take out the trash, eat your broccoli — who needs moms anyway? Nine-year-old Milo (Seth Green) finds out how much he needs his mom (Joan Cusack) when she's nabbed by Martians who plan to steal her mom-ness for their own young. In a race against time and oxygen, his quest to save her knows no bounds. And with some unexpected help, Milo just might find his way back to her — in more ways than one.

Our Review:
I had wanted to take DD to see this movie in the theater but the timing never worked out. When we finally had some free time to go, it was no longer in the theater and that's why I was really glad that we got a copy of it to review. Although this movie did not do very well in the theater, after watching it on DVD with DD, I was surprised by how good the movie was. I thought the animation was visually impressive and I loved the theme of the movie. The love bond between the child and his mother is so strong that he did everything he could to rescue her. I literally cried at the end of the film. I don't know if it's because I am a mother of two so I am emotional about that sort of thing, but I really love that the mother-child bond theme was strong through out the entire movie. I recommend giving this movie a try, you might just like it more than you think you would.

This DVD and Blu-ray will be released on August 9th. Please visit your local stores where Disney DVDs are sold.
