DD has been taking swimming lessons for sometime now. She actually already knows how to swim but she is still really afraid of the water. As such, she has been using floating devices when she is in the pool. My problem with it is that I fear she is relying too much on the floating devices and not getting enough practices. Luckily, she received a swim assist jacket from Opa Cove to review.
She really wanted to look like a shark so this was one the she picked to review. The swim assist jacket is made for a child who already knows how to swim. It will not keep your child in the upright floating position. But it does have just enough floating panels on the inside to ease DD's fear of swimming in our deep pool a bit. With it on, DD is a little more comfortable swimming in the pool -- which is a good thing. Of course, it helps that the design of this swim assist jacket is so cute that DD never wants to take it off.
