I have had my Silhouette SD machine for a few months now. As a someone who crafts and does little creative projects around the house, I love the machine. It is pretty amazing what sort of things you can create with this little machine. I have made a lot of personalized shirts and onesies for my kids and their friends. I have also made vinyl decals for my car and the kids bedrooms. However, I just recently got to try their temporary tattoos.
The process for creating my own temporary tattoos is super easy. The company had generously offered a set of tattoo images for me to download onto my computer so that I could test out their products. I picked a few images from the ones they sent me, and I also used a few images I have purchased to print out on their printable tattoo paper off my printer. Then I had Silhouette SD Machine cut out each image The temporary tattoos were easy to apply (simply pressed against your skin with some water). After I placed the tattoo on DD and myself, I noticed that the tattoo actually stayed on pretty well. DD wanted it off after the first night, so I gently rubbed it with soap and it came right off.
I like that with Temporary Tattoos papers created by Silhouette SD I was able to make and personalized my own tattoos. You can created them in color or just in black. While DD prefers colorful butterflies, I like my all in one color (so it looks more like a traditional tattoo). Because we go to the amusement park a lot, I thought that another great way to use this paper is to create your own tattoo with your cell phone number on it for younger kids. You can place the phone number on your child using the temporary tattoo and if he/she ever gets lost in a crowded area, they could just find an adult to call you on your cell to be reunited with you.
From June 21st to 29th, you can pick up an Silhouette SD and 2 Packages Temporary Tattoo Paper for only $199 and you can also get 25% off all other products in the Silhouette shop (excluding gift cards and download codes) by enter the promo code SUGARPOP.
I have really enjoyed their products and I love using my Silhouette SD machine. If you are a crafter as well, I recommend checking it out.
