Looking for convenient ways to apply sunscreen onto your little one? MD Moms has developed baby silk babysafe sunscreen towelettes to help protect your kids from the sun during these hot summer days. There are 15 wipes per pack and each pack retails for $26 dollars.
Although it is a bit pricey (because it breaks down to $1.73 per wipe), it is very handy to have in a diaper bag. We just went to Disneyland yesterday. Instead of spraying down the kids with sunblock, I used one of the MD Moms Babysafe Sunscreen Towelettes. One towelette had enough sunscreen on it for DD's face, neck, arms, legs, baby G's arms, legs, face, head and my face along with my arms. I was really surprised that 1 towelette could go such a long way.
Here's DD right after I applied the suncreen on her. You can tell that her skin tone is a little lighter because white sunscreen I used on her. The towelette could get a little messy. I did DD's face first and I noticed that I needed to rubbed the sunscreen in with my hands after the application. However, by the time I was done using it on DD & baby G and using the leftover sunscreen on the towelette on myself, I noticed that it applied easily without me having to rubbing it in.
Although a bit more pricey than other sunscreen products on the market, we did find it to be very convenient. I also want to mention that in the past DD always complained when I rubbed sunblock on her face, but she was totally fine with me using the MD Moms Babysafe Sunscreen Towelettes on her face. The product worked really well too! After spending all day at Disneyland, we came home without any sun burns, yay!
If you spend as much time outdoors in the sun as we do during the summer months and you want something that works well on infants as well as kids, I recommend checking out MD Moms baby silk babysafe sunscreen towelettes.
