Having never seen this series myself, I did not know what to expect. When I received the DVD set for my review, I sat down with DVD to watch some of the episodes. After watching the first disc with DD, I thought the show was well written. Eliza Thornberry is an adorable little girl who is fearless and loves animals. Although my daughter loves animals, she is not at all fearless, so I am hoping that after watching this series she will be able to pick up that quality from her. Eliza is also a wonderful problem solver. As she travels and goes on adventures with her pet chimpanzee, she interacts with different animals and nature, and helps resolve issues that came her way. The language level is appropriate for kids but the show is entertaining enough for adults to watch too.
If you have saw this series on TV when it was on, I am sure you are already making your calendar to buy a copy of your own. If you havn't seen it before, I would recommend it without any hesitation. The series is
