We love this movie. We saw it in the theater and right after watching it, DD asked to see it again. We thought the voice acting was amazingly well done and the animation was fantastic. The details for the characters are realistic -- making them believable and likable. For instance, to get themselves ready for their first date, there was a sequence of scenes where Gnomeo and Juliet got cleaned up. I really like that even after they are "clean," you can still see the slight imperfections they have because they have been outside in the sun as garden Gnomeo. On their date, they met a flamingo. I thought the story of how he lost his beloved flamingo when the owners got divorced was really touching. With the special bonus feature, you get to see Elton John at work. We learned that the his favorite part of the movie was actually the love garden (where the flamingo was abandon). He explained the he loves that the garden was brought back to life with Gnomeo and Juliet's love. All in all, this is a great movie that both adults and kids can enjoy.
