Combi Cosmo Stroller Review & Giveaway -- ENDED

Having purchased, tested, tried and reviewed more strollers than the average mom has made me wanting more out of strollers. Although I would not consider myself an expert on strollers, at this point in my life, I know exactly what I want and need from a stroller. My friends often joke that I know more about strollers than anyone should. They just need to tell me what they want (compact, light weight, sturdy, good for travel, good for jogging or what not), and I would know exactly what to recommend for them.

I have 3 strollers in the back of my mini van. I know, it is crazy right? With a preschooler and an infant, why do I need 3 strollers (my husband is wondering the same thing), well, please let me explain. I have a stroller that's great for baby G's car seat. If he falls asleep in his car seat, I just lift up the car seat and attached to the stroller. This stroller is heavier, wider than the other strollers, but it has a HUGE storage basket. So, it is great when I go to the supermarket. Instead of getting a shopping cart, I just used the storage basket under the stroller for my food until I am ready to check out. My second stroller comes with an attachment for DD. It is a full size stroller that's comfortable for baby G to relax in, but it also has an attachment so that DD can stand in the back when she gets tired of walking. This is the stroller I use when we are out for long trips (like going to Disneyland with both of kids). Since my other 2 strollers are full size strollers, you could probably guess what my third stroller is. Yes, it is the Combi Cosmo stroller.

I am always on the look out for strollers that are unique and Combi Cosmo has the features I love for a compact stroller. First of all, I adore baby products with fun and interesting prints. When I saw the zebra print with orange seat, I was in love. I love the color combination so I was really excited to be the owner of this stroller. Of course, you should not buy a stroller just based on its fabric choices, there are important features you should look for. The Combi Cosmo stroller is super compact. As I have mentioned before, I have 3 strollers in the back of my mini van. My other 2 strollers are huge full size strollers that take up a ton of space, but the Combi Cosmo is so compact that it take up very little room. When folded, this stroller could easily fit in the truck of a small size car. So, if storage space is an issue for you, you will love this stroller.

Besides being compact in size, the stroller is also very light weight. At 13 lbs, it is very easy for me to carry over my shoulder -- this will be great for traveling because anyone could easily carry this in the airports, subways, train stations and forth.

The stroller has removable guardrail with child cup/snack holder. If you have a toddler, I would say that this feature is a must. DD loved to snack when she was a toddler. She loved to eat when she was in her stroller. I expect baby G to be much the same way, so it is nice to have the child cup and snack holder so that he too could enjoy eating in the stroller when he is older.

The stroller also comes adjustable canopy with storage pocket and viewing window. I use the storage pocket to store things like my car keys and cell phone. I also really like the viewing window because I use the Combi Cosmo stroller for walks with my kids. Usually baby G sleeps through our walks, but I like to check on him from time to time. Instead of stopping the stroller and walk in front of it to make sure he is doing ok, I just check on him through the viewing window on top of the canopy.

Now, because this is a compact stroller, it does have a few drawbacks. The stroller does not have a large storage basket and the basket is somewhat difficult to access. However, one should keep in mind that this is what allows stroller to be compact and light weight. If it had a larger basket, it would not have been as compacted.

Another drawback is that the wheels on this stroller does not handle grass or sand well. However, as I have mentioned before, this is a compact stroller. It will not function well as a jogging stroller, but I do think this stroller is perfect for city dwellers. The Combi Cosmo provides moms the full size stroller features that are important -- such as being compatible with the SHUTTLE 33 to form a travel system and being able to recline so that your child could nap in the stroller. At the same time, the Combi Cosmo stroller is also light weight and compact so that it could be handle like an umbrella stroller.

All in all, if you are looking for a compact stroller that can be used as a travel system, I would recommend the Combi Cosmo.
