Our Review:
We missed this movie in the theater, so when we were given the chance to review the DVD, we could not wait to watch it. We ended up watching it the same night it arrived. DD is very fascinated by horses (I think she got that from her aunt), so she happily sat down and watched the movie with us. Secretariat was a 1973 Triple Crown Champion and America’s Superhorse. We thought that the movie was beautifully filmed -- the racing scenes were amazing and DD cheered for Secretariat every time. The story between the horse and his owner was very moving too. We also enjoyed the bonus material where we learned more about the amazing horse from those who interacted with him in real life. Overall, we thought this was a great family film that everyone would enjoy.

The Blu-ray & DVD combo is being released on Jan 25. To pick up your own copy, please check retails stores where Disney DVDs are sold near you.
