MOR Cosmetics Review & Giveaway -- ENDED

I was introduced to MOR Cosmetics by a friends a couple of years while we were out shopping. I fell in love immediately. Not only that the packing of their products is beautiful, their scents are truly exquisite. I have been using MOR Cosmetics ever since checking out their products at a department store then. I got to work with the company earlier this year for a review & giveaway. I love their products so much that I wanted to bring you another review & giveaway of their products this holiday season.

If you are not sure what to get for that special woman in your life, I highly recommend picking something up from MOR Cosmetics. Their products always make me feel completely pampered and loved. For this review, the company sent me 2 different gift sets to try out. I received the limited edition Dear Mr. Partridge gift set with hand cream, soap bar and candle encased in a keepsake tin. It is hard to describe just how lovely the scent is, I honestly can't imagine anyone not loving this gift set. The packaging is just beautiful! I am actually really looking forward finishing all of the products and using the tin to store something special -- maybe keepsake items for our new baby.

The next gift set we received was the Soap Opera gift set. You know that we are soap lovers, so I was beyond thrilled when we received this gift set to review. The only issue we have is that the packaging is so beautiful and they smell so great that we haven't been able to bring ourselves to open up any of the soaps to try yet. I know, that's not normal, right?!

The Baby Bunch Winter Bunch Review & Giveaway -- ENDED

Since we have a new baby on the way, we are getting ready for the baby's arrival. From baby clothes to baby gears, we want to make sure we are prepare for everything. In addition to getting ready for our new baby, we also have a lot of friends who either just had babies or are expecting babies around the same time we are, so we are definitely looking for fun and unique products that we can share with our friends. Rubbermaid and Sharpie Prize Pack Review & Giveaway -- ENDED

One of my favorite holiday activity is doing a cookie exchange with my friends every year. This year, I am actually going to be doing cookie exchanges with the moms at MOPS. We will drink apple cider, hot coco, coffee, eat lots of cookies and enjoy each other's company. Usually, I make homemade almond cookies with toasted almonds on top (no typically chocolate chip cookies at my house). If I have free time, I will even make my famous cherry cheese cakes and flan. The only thing that's different this year is that I will get to do the cookie exchange in style with the help of Rubbermaid and Sharpie. I received a Rubbermaid Takealongs 15 pack, 1 package of sharpie retractable permanent marker, 1 package of sharpie pen retractable and 1 sharpie stainless steel permanent marker to review. With these great products, we are all ready for the cookie exchanges (except for the cookies of course). DD got to decorate one of the take along Rubbermaid containers with the sharpies I received to review. I told her that we could use it to store some cookies for her preschool teacher and she was really excited about that.

If you have a preschooler, I am sure you are already familiar with the Micky Mouse Clubhouse and Handy Manny shows. DD loves them and can watch them for hours if we let her. DD also loves the Mickey Mote. In the shape of Micky, it has 4 bottons that allows your child to play along answering questions through out the story. These ladies have everything they could ever want or need including a promise from dictator Mussolini himself that not even the imminent world war will impose upon their lifestyle. But when it appears that his word is not kept, and these expatriates who chose to stay in Italy instead of seeking refuge in their own country are in trouble, it takes a young outcast boy and a brazen American woman (Cher) to keep them in the high life and out of harm's way.

Our Review:
If you are a Cher fan, then this is the collection for you. Even if you are not a fan, you might also want to consider picking this collection up because it does contain some great films. Our two favorites from this collection are Moonstruck and Mermaids. It was fun to watch these films on our movie night. We were simply amazed by how much Cher has not changed -- she still looks great for her age. She has had a very long successful career and I am looking forward to watching her new movie Burlesque.

As soon as she saw Zoobles in the store, she asked if Santa could bring her some. Well, being a very lucky girl, the company sent her 4 of them to review for my holiday gift guide.

Now, I must admit that I was a bit skeptical at first. These creatures have small parts that pop up with the magnetized happitat that I was certain would break very easily. I also thought this was going to be one of those toys DD outgrows in 2 days. My husband, by the same token, suspected that DD would break this in less than an hour. Much to our surprise, the zooble did not break even after DD's rough play with it. DD loves it. Not only that she sleeps with it, she takes it every where she goes. Every friday at her preschool, she gets to take a toy to the preschool to share with her friends, and ever since she got her zooble, she has always taken it as her favorite share toy.

DD loves showing off her zooble where ever she goes. You should see how the other kids' eyes light up when they see how cute DD's toy is. Well, now that we know zoobles are here to stay and it is not just another toy she gets tired of in 2 days, she will be getting more from Santa (aka mom & dad) for Christmas this year. Frecklebox Review & 40 Dollars Giveaway -- ENDED

Even though everything DD takes to preschool has her names on them (we labeled everything), she still continues to lose a lot of stuff she takes to school. The only thing that we know for certain that will make it back home every day is her lunch box. Her favorite lunch box is made by Frecklebox. The lunch boxes offered by Frecklebox are very well made. Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I hope that everyone has as a wonderful day as we will. I LOVE winter holidays and Thanksgiving is definitely one of them. There are a lot of things I am thankful for. I could go on and on and make a long list of them, but my family is number 1 on my list. The truth is that nothing else matters if I did not have my family with me. I am very lucky to have such a wonderful, understand and sweet husband who supports me in all of my decisions and loves me unconditionally. I am also very fortunately to have such an adorable loving daughter.

I hope all of you are spending this wonderful holiday with those you love as well!

For the past week, it has been raining cats & dogs around here. Well, not literally, but you get the point. We were supposed to get our holiday photos taken this past weekend, but it was raining so hard that we had to rescheduled it for next weekend instead. Nice start to Thanksgiving week

Since DH's work is giving their employees Thursday and Friday off and he has a lot of unused vacation time, he decided to take the whole week off to spend it with his family. We woke up yesterday morning and found this lizard just hanging out on our kitchen window. DD was so excited! After spending the morning relaxing at home, we took DD to the local mall for lunch and a visit with Santa. DD was really excited because she had a long list of toys she wanted Santa to bring her for Christmas.

She got a candy cane from Santa so she was really happy.

In the afternoon, I had to go to the doctor's for my monthly pregnancy check up. DH was responsible for watching DD, I was gone for an hour and when I got home DH was on the computer playing games. I asked where DD was, he said that she was watching TV. Well, this is what I founded.

After nap, we went to Costco to do some grocery shopping. It was so cold that DD had her panda hat on. She loves her new hat so much that she insisted that I take a picture of her.

We had DD's printed at Costco to pass around for our families. Here's the final version. So cute!
