Uneaks Children's Shoes and Socks Review & Giveaway -- ENDED

Last year, DD got to review a pair of Uneaks shoes. She wore them to school regularly and she loved her comfortable and stylish shoes. DD loves spending lots of time doing water activities in the summer. To avoid sun damages, we always make sure she has sun block on as well as decent coverage from her swimwear. DD received a Pink Flower S/S Swim Set from UV Skinz to review.

DD thought that her new swim set was really cute and I love that it offered DD the protection she needs. One of the things I noticed is that DD gets sun burn very easily on her shoulders, so I have to reapply sunblock on her constantly. With her new swim set, we don't have that problem any more. When I was approached by Northwest Natural Products to do a review and offer a giveaway for my readers, I readily agreed. DD has been taking Lil Critter Gummy Vites for a couple of years now and we started taking VitaFusion vitamins about 1 year ago. We really like Northwest Natural Products, so we were glad to be working with the company to review their products.

Announcement -- sort of, its more like a rant ....

I already pick a bunch of giveaway winners this afternoon and I will finish picking the rest of the giveaway winners tonight. It took me over 2 hours to pick winners for 10 giveaways because so many people do not follow the giveaway rules. Yes, I do check the entries to make sure that the winner has followed the rules.

I don't want to sound like a broken record, but the rules are there for a reason. If you do not follow the guidelines, it is totally unfair to those who do, so I will not pick winners who do not follow the rules. I came across many entries who kept their profiles private, so I was unable to verify if they are indeed followers of my blog, so I skipped those people and reselected winners if I can't check the person's profile. Second, if you do not have an email address in your profile or if you do not include it in your comment, I have no way of reaching you. How would I be able to contact you to let you know that you won if I don't have your email address? I wish I had telepathic ability so I can mentally contacted you and let you know that you won. But, at last, I am just a normal mom and a housewife who happens to have a blog. If you don't leave me a way to contact you, I don't have the magic ability or super power to contact you. Sorry to disappoint you all! As soon as I am capable of contacting my blog followers telepathically, I will let you know -- by notifying you mentally of course ;).

Please do not leave me comments like, " I want to win this giveaway." Despite my lack of super power, my educated guess is that you do want to win the the giveaway and that's why you are leaving me a comment. Companies I work with typically like to have my readers visit their sites and leave comments on what they like on my blog. This a great way for them to check what sort of products people are interested in and it also helps drive additional traffic to their site. When you leave me comments like "I want to win this giveaway" instead of following my rule it is a good indication to me that you did not even bother reading the giveaway guidelines. I found this to be very interesting, because if you are not reading my post, how do you even know what the giveaway item is? Do you think that I include my giveaway guidelines there to make my blog look more busy or that I want to waste people's time by making them read? *gasp*

What is the one thing that's on your kids' back to school shopping list year after year? For us, it is all of the paint and coloring supplies. DD is heading back to preschool and we want to make sure that she has every thing she needs for it. DD loves to color and draw. She not only do work on a lot of arts and crafts projects at home, she also does a lot of them at the preschool. To help her get ready for school, Faber-Castell sent her two great products to review.

She received the Young Artist Learn To Paint Set as well as the Jumbo Triangular EcoPencil - 12 ct. to review.

I love that the Young Artist Learn To Paint Set includes everything she needs to paint and they all fit nicely in a bag DD can carry all by herself. It included 6 artist quality brushes of varying sizes - triangular shaped handles are easy to hold. 5 colors of washable paint. Easy to handle paint pallet. Her daddy is quite the artist himself, so I am hoping that with this paint set, DD will be heading down the path of becoming an artist herself :).

The color pencils are amazing. They are large enough for DD's little hands to hold comfortable. I love that they are in triangle shapes so that they don't roll off the tables easily. The colors are bright and DD really enjoys coloring with them.

DD thinks that she is a princess. Well, she is definitely a princess to us. She loves wearing dresses and I must admit that I think she looks adorable in them. When I was asked to review About One Bath and Body products, I was excited. As many of your already know, I am a huge fan soaps and eco-friendly products. About One Bath and Body offers great products at reasonable prices. More importantly, I love the sustainable packaging of them. I received a body butter, soap and 2 lip balms to review.

The body butter is great for keeping my skin soft. After a nice bath or a long shower, I love softening up my skin with it. I adore the tin that the body butter comes it. It looks chic and it is recyclable!
I am so used to shopping at boutique shops and etsy shop for handcrafted soaps that I did not know if I would like the soap. Much to my surprise, I not only love the eco friendly packaging, I also thought the quality of the soap was amazing. The scent was wonderful and it really had the high end hand crafted quality to it.
The lip balms I received were yummy. DD loves them too so I have been sharing them with her. I love they come in small tins for easy transport ion in my purse and I never have to worry about things melting in the hot summer sun and leaking stuff from a tube all over my purse.

I am truly impressed by the products I have received to review, and to think that I can easily pick them up from Target is awesome. Bath and body products that have wonderful scents, work great and come in eco-friendly packaging, these are products I would not hesitate to recommend for sure.

Smith & Vandiver Review & Giveaway -- ENDED

DD loves taking bubble baths. We have tried a lot of bath products and we are always looking to try new ones with her. Smith & Vandiver sent us some bubble bath products to review and DD was beyond excited to try everything that came. Bath time is a very exciting time for DD!

DD received dino bubble and bath fizz to review. She loves that when the fizz is all gone, she is left with a small toy. The scent is great and these products definitely has made bubble time a lot for more for my daughter. The only thing I want to mention is that the toys are very small -- about the size of a dime. So, I would not use the fizz in the bubble bath for a small child. Also, because the toys were so tiny, we have lost them down the drain.

DD's First Pedicure

My feet are so sored and exhausted, well, I guess my whole body is too. I woke up in the morning thinking that I was going to treat myself to a pedicure. Then, I thought it would be fun to bring DD along for it. It was DD's first time getting a pedicure and she was really excited-- I mean, just look at her face. She was very fascinated by everything there.

She wanted pink nail polish so that's what she got.

We had a great time getting pedicures. We will not be doing this all the time (her daddy thinks that a 4 year old getting a pedicure was a bad idea). But I thought it was a fun and special thing to do with her and I was glad that I was there for her first pedicure :).
