Disneyland Tuesday

We thought that it would be fun to take the kids to Disneyland and California Adventure before school got started. We spent a day at Disneyland and the went back the following day to spend the day at California Adventure. It seemed like a great idea at the time, but I was completely exhausted. We spent an entire day at Disneyland with our friends and we had a lot of fun with them.
DD and Avery.
Because I am pregnant, there are a lot of rides I can't go on now, it's so nice to have Julie around because she took the kids on the rides.
The kids wanted to see Micky Mouse, so we did that.
The kids!
They love Micky, can you tell?
DD playing at goofy's house.
The second day, we ended up going to California Adventure in the afternoon. Left the house around 4 and did not managed to get home until about 1 in the morning. It was a hot day again, so Rob (Avery's daddy) brought an ice cream cone for the girls to share while we waited for the Toy Story ride.

Totally ready for the fun ride.
Who does not want to ride a fish ;) !
Because we were there so late already, we decided to stay for the World of Color water show. Here's the girls waiting for the show to start.
I took a few photos of the water show. The girls loved it. Because where we were standing, the view was not great. I think next time we are going to try buy the VIP tickets so that we can get a decent view of the show.

that is so cool that you can do that. There's nothing cool like that in Indiana. What a fun day! And great pictures!

Wow! Looks like you guys had a Blast! The girls looked like they had soo much fun! I remember my experience when I went as a kid and I will never ever forget it, I had the time of my life and there are tons of things to do there! You never get bored!
I especially like the nightime light shows too. My favorite's above all are the water light shows. They have them in Las Vegas too and they are really beautiful!

Well, I can't wait to take my kids to Disneyland when they are old enough!

Sounds like a great day. I lived in LA for a while, but I never went to Disneyland! But, that was before I got married and started a family. Now I am far away in NY State. Oh well!

I love Disney, but I have only been to FLA., we didn't get a chance to go when we visited my mom in Cali. last year because the girls were only 1 and 2, so it seemed a little pricey when they couldn't fully enjoy it. I wish we lived close like you because we would go all the time. Glad everyone had fun, I know I went to an amusement park pregnant and it was so tiring so I can related.

I went to Disney when I was about 8. I dont remember much of it. My kids are 4, and 7 months, and there is no way they would be able to enjoy it yet. I'm sure it was tiring for you! I wish I could go back now that i am an adult, i would definitly enjoy it now. but I think i will wait until the boys are older
