Having multiple kids and living in Southern California is not cheap. We pretty much have to watch what we are spending our money on and with another little one on the way, we have decided that cloth diaper is the way to go. Not only that it is great for the environment because we will not be polluting the earth with more disposable diapers, it is also great for our pocket book. We will be saving a lot of money using cloth diapers. The main things I am looking for in cloth diapers are the fit (no leakage and comfort), fabric used (I need soft fabric for my baby's skin) and I prefer one size fits all so that I can use the same diaper shell for a few years. Bum Essentials sent me a diaper shell along with some pads to review.
There are a few things I really like about Bum Essentials. I like that the shell can be used multiple times (if it does not get dirty), you can just change out the pads during diaper changes. I like that the snaps help toe adjust the diaper to fit the baby's size. There are also snaps on the bum pads, so that the pads will stay put inside the diaper and does not get move around or cause discomfort to the baby. The Bum Essential diaper pads are super soft so you don't have to worry about it rubbing against your baby's sensitive skin. Last but not least, the customer service is fantastic. I had a minor problem with the snaps coming loose on the diaper pads and the company sent me replacements right away.
To save the planet one diaper at a time, please visit Bum Essentials to locate retailers near you.
Many thanks to Bum Essentials. The company has generously offered 1 cloth diaper as a giveaway prize to one of my lucky readers (US residents only please)
